Georgia Institute of Technology — Atlanta, GA, US Master of Science in Computer Science Aug 2024 - May 2026
Coursework: Advanced Operating Systems, Distributed Computing,
Systems for AI, Graduate Computer Networks, Mobile Computing and IOT, Computer Vision, Human and Machine Learning
Research:
EPL Lab: Worked with
Professor Kishore and
Anirudh Sarma to develop an end-to-end augmented
reality video streaming platform using WebRTC. Implemented real-time AR and FFmpeg filters and
conducted an initial analysis of computational overheads and processing performance to inform
scheduling strategies for edge computing environments.
Worked with Prof. Sashank Varma and Vijay Marupudi on
Modeling Understanding of Story-Based Analogies Using Large Language Models (CogSci 2025).
Benchmarked LLM analogical mapping on story-based tasks using
embedding similarity and two-step enhanced prompting, uncovering gaps in causal reasoning and sensitivity to paraphrase variation. [Paper], [Poster]
Worked with Prof. Anand Iyer and Vima Gupta on a project titled 'Catching Vulnerabilities in AI-Generated Code at Scale',
employing LLM-guided adaptive fuzzing to efficiently detect algorithmic bugs. [Report], [Poster]
Teaching Assistantships:
CS 6210 Advanced Operating Systems (Spring 2025 - Spring 2026) with Prof. Ada Gavrilovska / Prof. Kishore / Prof. Anand Iyer
Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani — Pilani, India Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science + Minor in Data Science Aug 2018 - May 2022 GPA: 9.44/10
Introduction to Research:
Scaling DNS using Principles of Consistent Hashing Guide: Dr. K Hari Babu
Studied peer-to-peer DNS systems using the Chord protocol to enhance load balancing,
fault tolerance, and query performance in traditional DNS architectures.
Explored fake news detection in an unsupervised manner,
employing variational autoencoders with a focus on reconstruction
error analysis and clustering of samples in a lower-dimensional space.
Our work 'Applying Transfer Learning using BERT-based models
for Hate Speech Detection' (Paper) was published at the
Forum for Information Retrieval Evaluation, 2021.
Storage and query system analysis for high-speed netflow Guide: Dr. Ashutosh Bhatia
Built a netflow analysis platform (network traffic generator + nProbe for netflow export + Logstash as the netflow collector
+ Elasticsearch/Druid as the data store + a query engine) to conduct a study of high-speed network telemetry platforms
under varying system loads.
Teaching Assistanships:
CS F213 Object Oriented Programming (Fall 2021) with Prof. Amit Dua
